What is CodeMark?

Home › Answers › Compliance › What is CodeMark?

CodeMark is a voluntary building product certification scheme in Australia. A current certificate shows a product or system meets the listed NCC/BCA requirements when used as the certificate describes.

The AAC panel certificates Facadia lists are issued through CMI Certification (JAS-ANZ accredited). They include Hebel CM40233, CM40312 and CM40049, Nasahi CM40326, CM40411 and CM40327, and Eastland CM40381.

CodeMark compliance applies only to systems installed exactly to the certificate and the manufacturer's current design and installation guide. Mixing components between systems can take a wall outside the certificate.

Certificates are reissued and expire, so check the current version on the CMI register or the ABCB CodeMark scheme site.
