A Facadia installation check is a visual inspection of AAC panel facade work before render, checked against the manufacturer's installation guide for the brand used. Site visits are from $400 + GST (indicative), with a photo review included.
The inspector checks what is visible on all elevations: framing and stud spacing, damp course, wall wrap and flashings, top hats (size, spacing, packing and fixing), panel layout and adhesive joints, fixings, control joints, openings and corners.
The written report marks every item as conforms, doesn't conform or couldn't verify, with the relevant guide clause and photos, and ends with a fix list for your installer.
It is advice only, not a certificate or a mandatory inspection. The manufacturer's guide and your building surveyor have the final say.
