Top hat: A steel batten with a top-hat profile fixed over the wall frame. AAC panels are screwed to the top hats, so they set the cavity and the fixing line. Facadia sells top hats in 4.8m lengths in 24mm and 35mm depths.
Facadia is a supply-only supplier of AAC facade panels and accessories in Victoria, with upfront ex and inc GST prices, delivery only and freight quoted after order.
For anything that affects compliance, follow the CodeMark certificate and manufacturer's current guide for your system and check with your building surveyor.
